Arc-tan Fundraiser Update #3
Grace StannardWelcome to the final week of the Arc-tan Fundraiser!
Our success so far has already been phenomenal, we even hit $2,000 before I posted this update! I am so proud of how much our community has rallied together to support the club.
Artist Showcase
As we close in on the end, I wanted to use this chance to introduce the many talented artists that will be designing the merchandise and free rewards funded by all of you! Take a moment to follow and support them, because we would love to work with them again in the future.
The first artist is Hanamika, aka Hana! Hana is drawing all of the emotes that were unlocked at the $250 milestone, which will be added to our Discord server in the near future. Her bold, futuristic anime style is a perfect fit for Arc-tan's vibe and the expressiveness of emotes! You can find Hana on several platforms including Instagram and Twitter/X, and if you are interested in commissioning Hana yourself you can check out her services on VGen.
The next artist is our sticker illustrator, Maple (am_maple27)! Maple has a super cute style with incredible range, so she is also creating the art for the free postcard reward. In fact, she has already finished the sticker designs!! A sneak peek will be coming next week ;) You can follow Maple on Twitter or Ko-fi, and she also provides art commissions through VGen!
Another free reward unlocked was the Home and Lock Screen illustrations, courtesy of Kamii! Kamii also has multiple styles, resulting in tons of cute merchandise that they sell at conventions in the artist alley! You can find them on Twitter/X, Bluesky, Instagram, Ko-Fi, and even more places by checking out their website here!
How about an artist who also plays mahjong? Look no further than Hira (15cha_hira), an artist who is even making her own visual novel game! Hira is designing the T-shirt we unlocked at $1,000 utilizing a style that is perfect for apparel, with strong expressions and bold aesthetics. If enough of you follow her on Twitter/X or Instagram, maybe she'll join us for a game? Her commissions are closed at the moment, but keep an eye on her VGen page if you want to get some awesome art of your own!
The Double Milestone is where I started letting my bias show, because I couldn't look for artists without the amazing Hyuni (hyunicat) being at the top of my list. Hyuni is a VTuber, artist, and singer: the triple threat! In between conventions and streams, Hyuni will squeeze us into her schedule to design the large acrylic keychain we unlocked! Make sure to follow her on Twitch and Twitter/X, check out her merchandise, and let her drag you into wotagei culture...
The other artist from the Double Milestone is Kaedi (mnt_kaedi), who will design a gorgeous tote bag for the store. She knows how to maximize aesthetic with pretty pastels, balanced composition, and other elements like flowers and fresh clothing styles; I knew she was perfect for our budding collection! Finally, the artist we JUST unlocked the opportunity to work with is Nekopon! An amazing artist with successful crowdfunding campaigns of her own, Neko will be designing a peeker decal of Arc-tan in between the phenomenal fan art and merchandise she's been churning out. Make sure to check out her shop if you're a fan of NIKKE: Goddess of Victory, and stop by her stream to let her know how much we appreciate her work!
Wrap Up
There's only a few days left, but if we manage to push to $2,500 we can DOUBLE the amount of emotes being created for the server! Most of these artists are already hard at work on our commissions, so as we move into February and start working on bringing the merchandise and rewards to life you will begin to see the fruits of their labor appear on our social media channels, website, and Discord server.
